WEB RE-DESIGN
To commission a new website is a logical step towards gaining access to an online market. But what about the need for a re-design - is it REALLY necessary?
First impressions DO count, so it pays to have a professionally built website. Lets be honest, if a friend or relative offers to build a free or cheap website, you may well jump at the chance. But is it going to withstand the scrutiny of your customers? I know I have abandoned various e-commerce websites over the years, despite the services offered, because the website did not give me confidence in the company.
A simple overhaul of old code will help your search ranking. The internet and the Search Engines are constantly evolving. Older websites and non-professional built websites can often use old "deprecated" code, which is like "ye olde English". Google, among others, sees it as an old technology, less web friendly and this can reduce your website's search ranking.
Any changes in your company image, should be reflected in your branding and your website.
Every now and then our image is updated to reflect changes in our business: expansion, consolidation, diversifying, mergers etc - an adaptation or a complete new design can reflect these changes and bring the company image up to date and in line with the times. Even the big corporations, such as the BBC, BT and the high street banks
